Join us at EUCO Belgrade for an engaging and hands-on Social Impact Workshop, co-organized by the ERIC Social and Marketing Committees!
Together with Marina, ERIC Social Officer, and Adara, ERIC Marketing Officer, we’ll explore how to reflect on social projects, identify community needs, turn ideas into action, and explore ways to present and promote impactful initiatives.
This interactive session is designed to spark collaboration, creativity, and purpose—helping you shape projects that truly make a difference.
Whether you’re full of ideas or looking for inspiration, this space is yours to learn, connect, and create impact.

About the speakers:

Marina Zheleva, ERIC Social Service Officer and member of Rotaract Club Sofia – Serdika, has led and co-organized major initiatives such as REM Sofia, Rotaract Global MUN 2016, and BalkanAct 2023, focusing on youth education, inclusion, and environmental action.
Adara Cheleș, ERIC Marketing Officer and Project Manager of Cursa de Rățuște (Duck Race) in Bucharest, drives the branding and fundraising of one of Romania’s largest charity events. She also shaped the national campaigns O Cană de Fericire and Ghiozdanul de școală (a Mug of Happiness), creating their visual identities and communication strategies across dozens of cities.

Sanela Music, 2025 People of Action: Champion of Peace honoree

Sanela Music is an international human resources and strategy consultant, peacebuilder, and humanitarian leader based in Switzerland.

As former refugee from Bosnia and Herzegovina, she has transformed her personal experience of war and resilience into a mission to promote peace, mental health, and interethnic harmonious living across the Western Balkans and beyond.

Sanela is the President and Founding Member of the Rotary E-Club Global Impact, District 1990 Switzerland, Rotary representative to the United Nations in Geneva, and 2025 People of Action: Champion of Peace honoree. She is also the founder of SANCHILD Foundation, an organization dedicated to fostering a culture of sustainable peace and harmonious living through human-centered programs.

Walter B. Gyger, former Swiss Ambassador

Walter B. Gyger joined the Swiss diplomatic service in 1974 and served as ambassador to several countries in Africa, South Asia, Turkey, and finally to Russia.

A Rotarian since 1994, he has been involved in clubs in Dakar, Geneva, Delhi, and Ankara. From 2015 to 2021, he served as Rotary International’s main representative to the UN in Geneva, where he launched the first Rotary Day and the Rotary Peace Projects Incubator.

Since 2020, he has been an honorary member of SANCHILD and has chaired its Advisory Board since 2022.

Laura Sasse, ERIC Social Services Assistant

Laura Sasse is Social Services Assistant for Rotaract Europe, where she helps drive community service initiatives across the continent. Previously, she served as Social Service Officer on the French Rotaract board. Passionate about youth leadership, peace, and sustainability, Laura has coordinated projects like the Rotaract UN Days. A graduate of emlyon business school, Laura brings strong organizational skills and a deep commitment to social impact.

Step into the world of humanitarian aid with Outside the Box, an interactive session that brings ShelterBox’s mission to life.
Explore the essentials of emergency response—from learning about ShelterBox’s work and aid items, to understanding the real-life impact of disaster relief through powerful stories from aid recipients.
You’ll get the chance to create a 60-second film using an emergency aid item, reflect on your personal impact, and ask your questions live to ShelterBox’s programmes team during a special Q&A.
This session is perfect for curious minds and aspiring changemakers looking to understand how creativity, compassion, and global collaboration come together in times of crisis.

13:45 - 14:45 Workshop: Discover Rotary's Action Plan

Description:
An interactive session introducing Rotary International’s Action Plan and how it can help strengthen clubs. Through group work, participants will explore the Plan’s four priorities — Increase Our Impact, Expand Our Reach, Enhance Participant Engagement, and Increase Our Ability to Adapt — and develop practical ideas to apply locally. A dynamic and collaborative workshop designed to inspire action and growth.

Panellist Bio:
Marcello Andria is a passionate Rotaractor from the Rotaract Club Cagliari Golfo degli Angeli (District 2080, Italy). Past DRR and now Action Plan Champion for Zone 14, appointed by RI President Stephanie Urchick, he is actively engaged in Rotary and focuses on strengthening and innovating clubs through leadership training, strategic planning, and fostering continuity while promoting peace.
