Walking with blind and visually impaired people

The aim is raising social awareness of people with these types of problems by providing participants with an opportunity to see what the difficulties are that the blind encounter every day and experience them from their perspective. This is an opportunity to at least for a moment enter their world, their skin, and make a difference.

The realization of this activity implies that each blind and visually impaired person directs a person that is not blind, and who had a blindfold. All the time, they were followed by “rowers” who had the duty to steer couples in a walk so as not to cause any injuries to participants in this activity.

This project was organized by Rotaract club Belgrade Dedinje five years in a row before Covid.
